Fourth Generation Leads the way

Rocket Crane Service began in 1945 when Perry B. Hanson started hauling Cold Spring granite to the Twin Cities with a used tractor and trailer. After Perry’s passing, his wife, Cele, and their children, Bernie and Bonnie, carried the company forward, expanding operations across Minnesota and surrounding states. Bernie’s sons, Patrick and Paul, later took the helm, growing the fleet and continuing the family’s commitment to safety and service.

Today, Rocket Crane proudly enters its fourth generation of family leadership with Spencer and Clayton. With fresh energy and a deep respect for the company’s 80-year legacy, the next generation is focused on innovation, reliability, and keeping Rocket Crane at the forefront of crane service in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
