Our Leadership
Paul Hanson
President
Paul began his career at Rocket Crane in 1985 as an oiler working his way up through the years as an operator, estimator, project manager, general manager and today is the proud president of Rocket Crane Service. Paul has seen and done it all at Rocket, leading the company through decades of growth he now oversees the largest fleet and staff Rocket has ever seen. Paul currently oversees Rocket Cranes accounting and administrative teams.
Outside of work Paul is a diehard Vikings fan who enjoys spending time at his home in Crosslake Minnesota, spending time with his grandchildren and with his loving wife along with their 2 dogs.
Spencer Hanson
Sr. Vice President
Spencer graduated with a degree in Construction Management in 2012 and has been with Rocket Crane ever since. Spencer takes great pride in Rockets unparalleled dedication to customer satisfaction and the team’s common-sense, no-nonsense approach to every project Rocket Crane undertakes. Spencer keeps his finger on all aspects of Rocket Crane and helps oversee the project management, safety and HR teams.
Away from Rocket Spencer enjoys snowmobiling in the mountains with his brother Clayton, pheasant hunting with dog Sunny, motorcycling and spending time with his wife in one of their gardens.
Clayton Hanson
Vice President
Clayton joined Rocket in 2011 as an oiler and rigger. Through the years he has grown into a project manager dedicated to our customers and overcoming any challenges that are asked of us to overcome. Clayton oversees our business development and billing teams while still being an invaluable role in our project management and customer service teams.
Outside of Rocket Clayton loves spending time with his wife, 2 daughters and 2 dogs, snowmobiling in the mountains, ice fishing and camping with family and friends.
Kyle Borgstrom
Dispatch/Scheduling
Over the last decade Kyle has been a committed and integral team member at Rocket Crane. He started as a mechanic and now oversees scheduling, permitting and dispatching. Kyle also helps oversee the maintenance and upkeep of Rocket’s prideful fleet.
When Kyle is not at Rocket, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 sons waterskiing on the lake in the summer, coaching/playing hockey in the winter, and is an avid aviation enthusiast.
